After Antibiotics

Thanks everyone for your answers to my question, http://paleohacks.com/questions/188376/very-sick-advise-please#axzz2QDLLtzHD. I completed my Antibiotic course for 10 days which cured my sore throat but still I have little cough and phelgm which is not severe. The major problem after this course of antibiotics is that my digestive system is not same as before. I keep getting stomach cramps after meals and sometimes I get diarrhea. I really dont know what to eat. I am mainly eating bananas, soups, well cooked veggies, stewed apples, little meat stews, chicken, fish, some white rice (1/2 cup or less for dinner) and sometimes yoghurt. I also ate 2 oz grassfed beef liver every other day. I feel completely drained off energy and feel so tired and exhausted. Does antibiotics have such effect on our system? Please help me what I should eat now to boost my energy levels and most importantly cure my digestive system.

I went to doctor again, she gave me antihistamines, took a chest X-ray to see if there is any congestion... I still have some cough.

If you are still symptomatic you need to have a follow up appointment with your doctor. Adding something like yogurt, milk kefir, or water kefir will help with your digestion and speed up the repopulation of your gut.

Antibiotics are not good for our digestive system & our gut plays a massive role in our well being, they are a kill all method, good & bad bacteria get destroyed. I would personally get as much bone broth down me as possible as it is very easily digested & i would also make some sauerkraut as this will add some good bacteria to your system. There are other ways to get some good bacteria (kefir, kombucha etc)but i can't really comment as i've never tried them myself. Hope this helps.

I would take the bananas out of the diet as they contain a lot of sugar
