I've got IBS and i'm on a paleo low carb diet.. WITH CONSTIPATION.. i wanted to ask.. 2 years ago when I wasn't in paleo, my G made me do a test for the leaky gut, it was like I drunk a floyd with 3 type of sugars inside ( i had a very hard bloating ) and then I had to piss. The result was the I haven't got a leaky gut. I just wanted to ask.. if someone has an ibs.. it quite sure that in the time It will become something more dangerous like a crohn or a Multiple Slcerosis? thank you, i'm very preoccupate

Firstly, you are doing the right thing by seeking medical attention to resolve your IBS. I wish I had done this early on when I had IBS. Also, I have found doing a low carb Paleo diet (actually the Specific Carbohydrate Diet) to be very helpful in taming IBS.
But to answer your question, I have never seen a study that proves IBS leads to Crohn's or any other autoimmune disease. Even if there is a connection surely most folks with IBS do not develop an autoimmune disease. Having said this, if you have a family history of autoimmune disease I can see where IBS might initiate such a disease. Yet by eating healthily and working to resolve your IBS you are surely reducing the odds of something worse happening.
Sorry I cannot give a clear "yes/no" answer. Just carry on what you are doing and don't panic.
