How to increase carb intake without having inflammatory foods?

I seem to feel better and have less brain fog when I have more carbs in my diet. What foods have loads of carbs but aren't inflammatory?

I know there's fruit and sweet potatoes, but what else has carbs that isn't inflammatory?

Am I wrong for adding more carbs in my diet?

Should everyone be on a low-carb diet?

Any advice much appreciated. :)

Parsnips, carrots, any squash, taro, white potato, white rice, tapioca.

Starchy vegetables like squash or pumpkin tend to be pretty nutritious and non-inflammatory (probably even anti-inflammatory in somes cases). Other hunter-gatherer staples like taro or cassava are alternatives, although I don't have any idea how inflammatory they might be (my guess is that they aren't, but I don't want to commit to that assertion without definite knowledge).

Have you tried white rice? (Not Paleo, but pretty benign for most folk.)

If you aren't sensitive to nightshades, then potatoes could work.

I am finding I do better on low carb as a 49 year old woman with relatively low activity (compared to my 20s). I suspect that the younger &/or more active you are, the more likely it is that you can handle higher carbs (if your metabolism is functioning well!)
