Ostrich eggs FTW. (largest eggs of any living bird)

Don't exactly know where in socal you are but I'm in LA and the Asian/Filipino markets near my house carry quail eggs ($1.50 for 10) and duck eggs (although these are usually pre-salted). Check out Seafood City and other Asian markets.

keep checking all the big supermarkets, one is bound the have them, you can usually check the websites first then call & check the stores in your area, its worth it, duck egg yolks are huge & just as tasty as chicken ones

If you happen to live near an Ostrich farm, I suggest you try an Ostrich egg. They are really cool!

Try Asian markets or EatWild.com for local farms. We get our duck eggs the same place we buy our pastured chicken eggs, I have no clue what the living conditions are for the ducks that supply the Asian market.

I've seen duck eggs at my local farmers market and quail eggs (fresh and hard boiled) at the Asian market. Never came across goose eggs before but if I did I would sure want to try them!
