Did anybody else see Dave Asprey (Bulletproof Exec) on ABC news?

I was on ABC news this morning and saw something about a pharmaceutical that is supposed to help with cognitive abilities, brain fog, etc... I clicked on the video out of curiosity and "Whammo!" there was Dave Asprey. At first I didn't put it together that he was the Bulletproof executive. This healthy guy using a pharmaceutical to eliminate brain fog? Something doesn't add up.

Here's the link to the video

What are your thoughts?

@RaiseFitness, I swear to whatever higher power in which you believe, if I click on another question to find that I agree with you and have nothing to say, I'm going to be rather peeved. Gah! I'm obsolete!

i am not insinuating that it is an amphetamine, only that it has a similar mechanism of action, and effect.

My thoughts are the same as my thoughts for Bulletproof....the guy found a niche and is trying to make money. Nothing more, nothing less.

Given what I know about Asprey, I'm not surprised. He's been trying out all sorts of nootropics for years. It wouldn't surprise me if what he considers brain fog would be what most of us would call clear thinking, given his penchant for going to the extremes of human cognitive function.

He's a biohacker. He uses all kinds of crazy drugs, technology, and the like in his search for ultimate performance. Nothing about it doesn't add up.

Hardly surprising given his post on Modafinil, here:

I admire what he's doing, especially since he's exploring areas that are not explored by others.

Example: I do put ghee + coconut oil in my coffee and buzz it in a blender, so thanks for that. I'm not sure that I need to worry about fungi to the same extent as he does, however, so I use decent coffee beans, but nothing specially designed to avoid them.
