Better off than what? Don't drink your calories; the fiber helps you feel full longer.

If you are eating a solid paleo diet all the way around, the fiber will take care of itself. Especially if your green veggie intake is high.

None that I can think of. Any non-fiber diet that I can visualize would be improved by adding vegetables, nuts or berries. Even an unlimited oyster feed would be better with some chopped cabbage, hazelnuts and blueberries.
