I've taken calamari oil in the past, but these days I get my n-3's from fresh seafood and avoid PUFAs that aren't super fresh and refrigerated or kept on ice. As beneficial as quality omega-3 is, I fear oxidized poor-quality PUFA could be as harmful. I'd probably rather be a little low on omega-3 and try to make it up with plants than go for the cheapest stuff you can find in old / warm softgel form.
