Should I detox after a few days of eating bad?

I have been eating paleo for a few months now, and I look and feel great. The local county fair is in a few weeks. I look forward to all the food all year long. I will be there showing my horses for a few days, so I know I will be eating some terrible fried things. (Who could say no to a fried snickers bar.) Should I detox myself after, or is a few days of eating completely unhealthy ok?

It wouldn't be so bad, if you were actually funny. But sadly, you're just tiresome. And you know else? Jimmy is pretty awesome. Here's a guy with no credentials. Only thing he has is that he lost a bunch of weight and he builds an amazing podcast/website interacting with famous doctors/scientists/fitness & nutrition experts. And does it really well. He's not getting rich - he's just getting by. I emailed him once and he responded within 10 minutes. Well, what have you done with your life???

When I read "fried snickers bar" my neck clenched hard and I was literally shivering/shaking in disgust at the thought. So, maybe I CAN say no to that. Fried clams, however, is another story...

What do you mean by detox? Like fast, or just eating super clean? If you're going to indulge, just try to limit it where you can, like try to have a good clean breakfast each morning, it might cut down on your cravings. Afterwards, I would just go back to whatever works for you. Unless you have any severe sensitivities or allergies, you will probably be fine. I indulge on some holidays for a few days, get it out of my system, and go back to normal, clean paleo/primal and feel great again. (I do get a little sluggish feeling with junk).

Wow, I can't even relate. When your filled your body with whole foods and plenty of fats your sugar/fried food cravings go out the window. There's no room. After a beautiful steak.

Or how about this - just not eating bad? If the great Jimmy Moore can do it, you can, too. ;)
