Why do I have random periods of discomfort & fatigue?

It's almost like a male period or something. I'll be feeling great for weeks on end and then out of nowhere I'll get all kinds of adrenal fatigue/hypothyroid symptoms which often lead to depression and lower productivity. For example, during the past week I have been getting 9-10 hours of sleep a night and it's still painful to roll out of bed. When I'm feeling like this my eyes are often really dry and my muscles take forever to recover. I'm just wondering where this comes from..and is it common?

Does anybody else have this problem? Should I stop my weight training/cardio when I start to feel any symptoms? I really don't feel like I workout too much(only 3 days of lifting per week with 1 or 2 days of intense cardio.

+1 on too little carbs. Add a sweet potato.

i think it's lack of carbs. I've been eating tons of carbs on lifting days (up to 300 grams) but on my off days I eat as little as 30. I think I should push it up to 150 to 200. I feel better right now.

eat some carbs particular starchy kind. Dry eyes might be an indication that your not gettin enough glucose. eat some potatoes and white rice. http://perfecthealthdiet.com/category/disease/dry-eyes/

yeah I've been trying to carb backload which might be hurting me because I can go 2 days in a row with literally like 50 grams a day before loading.

Are you low carbing it? Could be low electrolytes, could be not enough carbohydrate, could be anemia, could be a bunch of stuff. Eat a banana, eat some liver, eat some salt, add some magnesium, and if you still feel like poop definitely run some labs.

Have you been to a doctor yet? Those symptoms can be a result of any number of things.
