Hi. Am about to embark on my Paleo journey again (long story!) and would love to have people I can turn  to when things get tough. I have Ankylosing Spondylitis (auto immune condition) and am very poorly at the moment. My Dr's just want to send me away with lots of very strong medication but I am not happy with that solution! Symptoms include; Uveitis, lower back pain, joint pain, horrendous recurring mouth ulcers, foliculitis. This is leading me to feel very depressed and I want my old self back again! Can Paleo be the answer?

I would love to try Paleo again to see if I can at least reduce my symptoms to a more manageable level which will in turn allow me to enjoy life to the max again. I am the only one in my house that will be eating this way -  I am  faced with cooking my husband and son traditional meals that I will no longer be able to eat with them and although my husband is amazingly supportive I need to be able to chat with like minded people following this lifestyle choice. I'm based in the UK and it would be a bonus to chat with other people from the UK (especially when trying to source ingredients etc), however chatting to people from around the word that are following Paleo will be a great help to me I am sure.

I am hoping that there might be other Anky Spon sufferers here who have reaped the benefit of following the Paleo lifestyle. At the very least I would love to just be able to bounce ideas off people that won't judge me for being on what they class as a 'fad diet!'

Cheers guys.
