Tooth abscess treatment

Hi,

Hopefully I'm not requesting information that's already answered elsewhere on this site but here's my problem:

I have a bottom molar tooth that had been root-filled and crowned and the same with the tooth just above it. It turns out from an x-ray that an abscess has formed below the root and between/touching the jaw line. The teeth seem to touch closer due to abscess and the advice given was to extract it at a later stage if not earlier or re-doing the root canal (with 60% success rate).

I wanted to know what treatment, natural preferably, could I undergo in order to treat it 'naturally' instead of extracting it.

Thanks in advance!

Try Dr Ellie's website; she's a dentist and maybe able to help. Lots of info on the site for free, but she also does phone consults. She has several websites, actually, but I think you can start here: http://www.drellie.com/
