Hey everybody. Today was my first day on the Paleo diet. I have a few questions...
I am not on this diet to lose weight number one. I am extremely healthy. I am a 23 year old male that weighs 150 solid. I am 5'7. I have a hard time getting a lot of calories a day. I just am never hungry! Sometimes I am... but not like I used to. I am not on this diet to lose weight however. I am on it to be healthier. I love the idea and I always gone as natural as possible. So can I expect any sudden changes? I eat a lot of fruit but that's because I know sugar has fiber so it's almost like a natural defense. I read this whole thing on sugar... I eat more meat and veggies than I do fruits. I also soak everything in olive oil even my veggies lol. Nearly everything I buy is organic or all natural. I get a lot of simple truth products etc. I do get chicken of the sea canned salmon (wild natural caught) sardines... tons of green veggies. I buy a lot of meat products from applegate. I buy a few grass fed organic beef but it's hard to find all grass fed. I really am trying. I drink a TON of water. I also take a vitamin code supplement (all organic vitamin) but I take 2 a day instead of 4 a day since I load up on veggies and nutrients.
Is it possible to overdose on protein? I drink a TON of water. I am planning on working out but I need to make sure I get my calories... . I don't quite understand, is the fats going to be my fuel and energy source? I do eat peanuts... sardines... and on my sardines I put olive oil on them. I put olive oil on my veggies and even my organic beef dogs. Also is dairy okay? I know some people are shady on this but milk would be a good source of calcium for me. 100% organic whole milk. Do you eat cheese?
