Was it the dairy or the multivitamin that fixed my gut?

Hey guys,

Two weeks ago, I decided to greatly reduce my normally high meat and vegetable consumption and add in a lot of milk, whey powder, and ice cream to my diet. Simultaneously, I tripled my multivitamin dose up to the recommended daily dosage of Orange Triad (I was underdosing before).

Within a few days, all of my mild-but-annoying GI symptoms (bloated feeling when eating, unpredictable stool consistency, and occasional constipation) vanished.

So my question to you is: Which of the two changes do you think was more likely to have caused this: dairy or multivitamin?

^ In the past I have wildly varied my plant consumption with no dramatic effects. I can't attribute what I feel now to the slight reduction of veggies in my diet.

+1 thats what I was thinking....nothing magical about adding in dairy for the gut unless we're talking the fermented variety IMO, and I'm not even inclined to give the nod to the multi either. More about what you stopped doing.

Makes me wonder if eliminating some FODMAPS (by reducing vegetable consumption) may have done the trick.
