Food intolerance can range from "throat closes and I die" to "I just feel better without". Personally, I know my body runs better without eggs (even organic, free range ones), but I know how good they are for me! Plus, they're delicious. Dairy free (I use goat yogurt and cheese now) and egg free worked for me for years, but it's highly restrictive, and people in your life tend not to enjoy eating with you as much. Has anyone experienced this same conundrum or found any way to eat these things sometimes without adverse affects (puffiness, lethargy, runny nose).

Have you considered trying just the yolk? I find it very digestible, and the white very heavy.
