dairy causing mental fog, lightheadedness, buzzing ears?

I've noticed hat I am a lot more sensitive to certain foods since cutting out grains- like i feel sick to my stomach if I eat bread or a bite of someones burger.. But lately I have had a big problem with milk. I have always been lactose intolerant, but I think that its whats causing this horrible lightheaded, dizzy, out of body feeling I've been getting lately. I also seem to have this kind of buzzing in my ears.. kind of like white noise even when everything is quiet? Has anyone ever experienced such symptoms? Or and I going crazy? I have adjusted so many parts about my diet that the only thing I can really come up with is an intense dairy sensitivity.

How long have you been paleo? I had bad hypoglycemia before paleo but it seems to not be bothering me anymore, yet the lightheadedness is. I cut out dairy and it got alot better, but its still not gone! I'm going crazy trying to figure it out too =S

Yes, since raw dairy is illegal in Canada, its the only stuff I can get.

Are you consuming pasteurized (not raw) dairy?

I feel exactly like what you just described, "horrible lightheaded, dizzy, out of body feeling I've been getting lately. I also seem to have this kind of buzzing in my ears", when my blood sugar drops. I take a shot glass of maple syrup and it passes. That is why I am starting paleo, to see if it will help with my hypoglycemia episodes.

Check to see how much zinc you are getting. A zinc deficiency can cause tinnitus or ringing in ears.

When I have pasteurized dairy I too feel lightheaded, dizzy and with mental fog. I don't get that with raw milk and organic goat cheese, though, those are the only sources of dairy I eat. I would suggest that if you cannot find raw dairy in your area to avoid it altogether. You can use coconut milk or almond milk instead. Also I have found that the sensitivity to grains has decreased as I have become more and more strict with Paleo because my gut is healthier. I don't eat grains anymore nor do I cheat because I don't feel a need to do it and also there are no benefits to it, only detriment to my health. However if I accidentally have some gluten, I no longer get those awful consequences that I did at the beginning.

I don't notice any problems with noise, but I did start realizing when going more paleo that the reason I felt fatigued, slow-brained, etc. was due to my food consumption. My ADD and thyroid disease symptoms were greatly reduced when I cut out wheat/dairy. Now when I eat those things, I notice feeling that way 100x more than I did prior.

The white noise buzzing is likely peripheral electroonics. When I went to my uncle's mountain cabin this summer I noticed just how quiet it really is. Just sitting in my room I hear a white noise static, but if I go outside (I live in the suburbs) its gone. Try opening a window?

And you might be intolerant to dairy, but the static you hear could likely just be household appliances/electronics.
