I love dairy too much to give it up, what should I do?

Hello Everyone,

Recently, I have noticed everytime I consume yogurt I produce a lot of mucus. Especially when I eat yogurt made from cow's milk. When I eat goat's milk yogurt, mucus is stilled produced but not a lot. The brand of yogurt I eat is Fage Total and Fage 2%. Sparingly, I eat Redwood Goat Milk Yogurt but Fage is cheaper and taste better. The creaminess cannot be beaten, that is what I love about it. Throughout the day I eat about 2-4 cups of a yogurt. Now, I do not know what to do. Should I look for a grass-fed greek yogurt or stop eating dairy all together? I only eat yogurt, I do not like any other dairy product.

concur. you will have to let it go. It is possible that almond milk yogurt be less bothersome, but reactions to dairy are common. I replaced yogurt for my smoothie with soaked chia seeds.

There's is no great solution - if you're showing symptoms to dairy, you shouldn't go "Primal."

There is one hack, but, it's not a good one, nor a healthy one.  You could drink alcohol which will tend to dry up the mucus, but ofc, that's not good advice and will do more harm than good.
