Has paleo helped you use stress to your advantage?

Since starting paleo my moods are a lot more even. I don't react to typical irritation and work overload as much and I seem to recover better mentally and move on. Although I have not had tests that verify my adrenals aren't overloaded I suspect my cortisol levels are more balanced. Plus I sleep like a rock when I'm not up reading Paleo Hacks.

Good reaction to stress lets you take advantage of norepinephrine. Supposedly this helps you be creative and approach challenges with optimism instead of dread. Stress also helps us work better or respond to an emergency properly. Some studies show stress can even strengthen your immune system.

Elevated cortisol=weight gain, exhaustion, mood swings, low libido, sleeping problems, digestive problems, skin issues, frequent sickness, memory issues, aggressiveness toward others, etc.

What has been your experience with this? Has your work and interactions improved? Are you calmer and kinder?

And if not...why?

I just feel a lot better and have a lot more energy. I have always handled stress well but I now seek to eliminate stress where possible.
