I've read that Holy Basil will lower cortisol levels. Does anyone know of anything else that will do that?

Good call. It depends on *why* your levels are high. If it's mostly psychological stress, you need to find ways to relax, maybe get some more sleep, and in general just take things easy. Don't let yourself get worked up over stuff that isn't worth it. (Take it from someone who learned the hard way.) And if you're overexercising, cutting back would help too. Think nice, slow, relaxing walks instead of pounding yourself into the ground at the gym.

There are a number of adaptogenic herbs that are supposed to work. You can Google 'adaptogen herbs' and come up with lots. I've taken Rhodiola Rosea myself. Foreveryoung is right about sleep and sex helping too. If you are really having some overtraining problems or stress, make sure you aren't working out too much or too hard. Cut out the stimulants (caffeine) also, and make sure you are getting enough Omega-3's.
