Constipation and red rashes...

Answered on August 19, 2014

Whenever I'm constipated (incomplete evacuation in the morning), I get tiny red bumps on my skin - no pain, no pus, no itchiness, just red and elevated, stays for days if I'm constipation for long.

And this had been happening frequently this a year and a half. Also, I have not been getting sufficient potty pressure (don't know if there is a better word for it).

Has this something to do with leaky gut? Just wanted to know to decide how to orient my diet...

hormonal disorder could be one... I have PCOS but less than 3 stool movement, is it? I actually have incomplete evacuation daily. Wouldn't that qualify for constipation?

do you drink enough water? like upwards of a gallon a day?

try taking a magnesium supplement before bed with a quart of water, yes you might have to get up to pee, you might also wake up and have a few nice turds in the morning

do you drink any bone broth? or eat any seaweeds? both are very healthful for the intestines. broth is great to sip before meals to stimulate digestion and also helps with hydration and, like seaweed, is an excellent source of nutrients that are beneficial.

do you take a probiotic? garden of life brand "primal defense" is a good powdered form probiotic that you can take to help repopulate your gut with bacteria to help digestion and assimilation.

do you exercise? take a nice 45 minute walk at the end of the day, the movement should gently stimulate your digestion.

do you get enough sleep? your body spend a lot of the evening repairing and finishing up stages of digestion, go to be earlier!

coconut oil, celery, cucumber, a tbsp. of flax or chia soaked in 6 oz of water.....add these to your diet if you aren't already consuming them

Hi,Constipation is defined medically as fewer than three stools per week and severe constipation as less than one stool per week.Constipation usually is caused by the slow movement of stool through the colon. There are many causes of constipation including medications, poor bowel habits, low fiber diets, abuse of laxatives, hormonal disorders, and diseases primarily of other parts of the body that also affect the colon. Thanks,

Could be parasites. We all have them, and they are a major cause of digestive issues (and many health issues). Watch this video (at the top of the page): http://www.markusrothkranz.com/parasitefree/parasite_free.html

I have a friend taking the parasite free and having great success - but I had to choose another brand since it contains high oxalates that I need to avoid currently. I'm using ParaGone with great success! Within 24 hrs I got relieve of my ongoing skin itching problem, and improved energy and digestive issues. It's a 15 day detox but you need to take it 3 consecutive times to get control of the parasites and eggs they lay.
