Comments missing

Commented on November 13, 2013

I notice that once there are more than 10-15 comments on an answer, the old comments are not shown anymore. There are always some missing.

have you got any ad-blocking software installed...they can do weird things like this sometimes (try disabling it, if installed)

I just tried a different browser. Same thing. I can usually post one comment per day, but that's it. Could it perhaps have to do with spam settings on the admin end?

Me too. Sometimes I can submit a comment, but usually not. I can't figure it out.

A few days ago I was trouble with comment post "hanging". I thought it was fixed because today it seems to me working fine with Internet Explorer on a Win 7 PC. . What browser / machine are you using?

yep, same issue, the number of actual comments is indicated by the number next to the 'comments icon', but they are not all visible.

i had noticed this on recent questions & comments (post new site), but i now see that it is a problem with older questions/comments as well. hope this is on the to-do list of fixes.

This issue is still unfixed. It looks to me like a problem with the ajax-code. Maybe remove it and just let all the comments show immediately? I find that much more comfortable than having to click a hundred times.

A new comment on I just found out that I have diabetes (Glucose level 500). was posted by Matt 11 on Paleohacks:

12 of 38 grams of sugar come from the milk. 26 grams from the simple syrup which is 2 ounces or so… in a tall. Talking 3 ounces of sugar in a grande, and 4 ounces in a venti (which so many folks order).

I'm jealous people are able to post comments. I click "Submit" and NOTHING happens.
