How might Cold Thermogenesis affect a DVT?

I am a 40 y/o male with congenital varicosities since childhood. I was diagnosed with a Right leg DVT at around my knee level two weeks ago following immobilization in two knee high fracture boots for about 10 days after a debilatating bout of bilateral retrocalcaneal heel bursitis. I am on Warfarin per my PCP and a Hematologist but I want to resolve this blood clot and get off the meds asap. I am considering CT but wanted to solicit some thoughts regarding this type of therapy given the nature of my problem. At the end of the day I will always follow my doctors advice, but he hasn't given me any options besides medication. Any insight you can offer would be appreciated. Thank you!
