Anyone else tried this home-remedy for colds / flu?

Came across this website last week, bought the ingredients and put it together. VERY strong stuff to take on a shot, but it works. I have heard people call this "fire tonic" or something along those lines. Apparently you are supposed to let it sit for 8-12 weeks to get the maximal effect.

Anyone else try it? Thoughts? Similar recipes?

Pretty close. My recipe has no turmeric and I use a blend of habanero and jalapeno since straight habanero is too warm for me.

Pretty much the same. No turmeric in my recipe and it specifies raw apple cider vinegar. I use a 50/50 mix of habanero and jalapeno as pure habanero is a bit much for me.

Can't argue with that - Vit D is fantastic for this sort of thing. However, anytime I start to feel allergies / cold symptoms start to come on, 1-2 shots of this stuff knocks it right out, rough but once you get it down the hatch its worth it!

Nope. Sounds disgusting! Looks like overkill to me.

I take 40,000 IUs of D3 at the first glimmer of a virus and haven't been sick in over 3 years.

I use something similar that was suggested by a friend. I used to have seasonal colds that could work into bronchitis pretty easy. I now start taking shots of this twice daily when a cold rears. It takes what used to be a 3 week sickness and turn it into 3-5 days and sometimes it lasts only 1 or two with no increase in symptoms beyond some sniffles or raspy throat.

I take a lot of D3 already living in Alaska.

In case the friend reads this..."Lyndy says..."
