How much water with coffee?

Is there maybe a ratio or rule of thumb to follow when drinking water with coffee in order to balance out coffee's dehydrating effects?

For example, if I have one 10 oz cup of black coffee in the morning, how much water do I have with it?

Also, would it change if I have bulletproof coffee, or another add-in?

Thanks!

I just have a glass of water right when I wake up, followed by 4 cups of coffee throughout the morning. If I feel thirsty, then I'll have an extra glass of water.

I don't think this is something you should be worrying about.

Coffee is a diuretic, but you are ingesting water with that coffee. I believe it's diuretic effect is inconsequential within moderation. Keep in mind drinking plain water will make you pee as well. Thoughts?
