For those of you claim that you experienced a significant improvement in energy & mood after giving up coffee, how long did it take to notice the positive result?

It depends how much you 'abuse' the coffee goodness. The first time I gave up cold turkey, I was drinking about 4 strong coffees a day, it was a good month until I started feeling good in the morning without the coffee hit.
The second time I kicked the habit I did it gradually over a month, getting down to a coffee about every second day, before completely kicking it, and then it took about 2 weeks to be happy without it.
I've now been coffee-less for 4 months, and feel great for it, I wake up ready to go, no urges for the hit.
