I blend my whey protein with my coffee in the morning and was wondering what else would blend well with coffee for a tasty smoothy. I tried pumpkin and it was just ok so i tried the coffee with pumpkin and honey but it was not much better. so what are your ideas?

I love the taste (the beans smell the best of any beans I've ever had). My wife said the "it smells like breakfast toast" after its fixed. Don't worry about counting calories, it'll drive you nuts and stress you out (leading to weight gain). I use this as my breakfast and am not hungry till after lunchtime. The medium chain fatty acids are a GREAT energy source. Do some self experimentation and give it a try. Matt

I'm a hardcore Bulletproof Coffee fan (high quality coffee, MCT oil, and grass-fed butter).

I don't do it frequently, but I've done this combo before.

16 oz coffee 1 tbsp grassfed butter 1 tbsp coconut oil 1 scoop whey protein 3 egg whites 1 tsp cinnamon Stevia

The egg yolks get oxidized very fast in the hot coffee, so I tend to keep those and either eat them raw or save them.

As for the drink, this is a powerhouse morning beverage containing approximately 400 calories and almost 40 grams of protein. If the taste is good, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a huge doze of fat and protein.

Then again, I actually prefer to just cook real eggs in coconut oil and do the coffee with butter, cinnamon and Stevia, and eat them together.
