Cheat: coffee on Paleo?

Hey everyone, I've recently learned about the Paleo diet from my cousin and I think it's wonderful! It makes total sense to me, and I've been on the diet for a good 3 weeks now. I love eating healthy, I feel amazing and have already dropped 5 or 6 pounds.

Before Paleo I loved coffee! I couldn't start my day without that large coffee with cream and sugar. Of course with Paleo I gave that nonsense up right away with the dairy free and no sugar, etc..

If I wanted coffee I'd have it black, or put a little bit of raw local honey in to take the bitterness away.

Coffee not being what it used to be to me, I pretty much just gave it up all together. But now and then I'd get a craving for that creamy cup of coffee.. I did really well! But today I just had a huge hankering for one! So I figured since I've been eating so well I'd treat myself to a cup of coffee with only a little cream and sugar in it.

Is it alright to have that one cup of coffee once in a blue moon?

Yes, coffee is ok in moderation and as long as you don't need it to "get going" every day.

I drink mostly black coffee everyday. Sometimes a splash of cream. Never sweet, don't like it, tastes like melted ice cream. I'm pretty sure you will survive the rare event of sugar.
