Fermented cod liver oil compared to beef liver?

Are there any big differences between the two nutritionally besides the CLO having more Omega-3? Is one just as good as the other?

And beef liver doesn't provide w-3, at least not significant. So they are almost mutually exclusive.

cod liver oil only provides vit a/d and omega fats, beef liver provides a wide array of nutrients. big difference between the two.

Beef liver is more sustainable, IMO. I believe that cod are in danger of being over-harvested.

I take both Green Pasture Fermented Cod Liver Oil and Perfect Desiccated Liver daily. I personally cannot eat beef liver or any organ meat. I love the Perfect Supplements product because it comes from organic beef livers of grass-fed cows in Argentina. The drying and concentrating processes give all the benefits of eating liver without ever having to take a bite. We sell both products at peaceful-planet.com.

I don't think so. 100 grams of liver is only four times the RDA. BTW, liver is not that great in a "variety of nutrients". It is a macro shot of Vitamin A, B12 and copper. Everything else is in amounts that you would find in muscle meat.

Just wondering if I can take 1 tsp of fclo a day plus say 100g of beef liver a week?

Are there any dangers from doing this? Eg Too much Vit A.

Beef liver doesn't provide D...high in vitamin A but little or no D. It's different than other animal livers in this way.
