Has anyone found commercial sweet potato chips made with coconut oil?

I sent an email to Terra Chips asking them to stop using grain oils and consider coconut or olive instead....

Nope, coconut oil is kinda villain-ized by the food industry because of saturated fat fear. I know it takes time & patience, but home-made sweet potato chips are extremely yummy.

You can find good recipes in Paleo cookbooks like Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook & on blogs such as PaleOMG.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but coconut oil is "feared," and very few products will contain it.

Speaking of chips, here's another idea... Oven Roasted Beet Chips And if you like that, you can buy his e-cookbook for $19.95 at this link.

No but I found white potato chips cooked in olive oil, sorry I don't remember the brand name. I'm sure it would be really easy to make at home

In addition to Paul's comment, coconut oil is also very expensive compared to other oils, so companies are not very willing to use it for mass producing.

Us Paleos would buy it of course, but the general consumer would most likely go for the cheaper chip made with canola oil or something
