I just bought some out of sheer excitement. Thoughts on how to use it?

I bought some, too, and haven't even opened the bottle. I was so excited in the store, then wondered why when I got home!

Do you use coconut vinegar like soy sauce or coconut aminos?

I'm glad you asked this, I've had a bottle of this in the back of my cupboard for long time that I bought on a whim at the Hmong market down the street.

I use it the same way. Their aminos are good too as a soy sauce substitute if you haven't yet tried those, Ashley.

Use it as if it were soy sauce. It's different, definitely don't think that it will taste the same as soy sauce, but will fit the bill nicely. I use in stir fries, marinades, salad dressings, over sashimi, dipping sauces, and more. Good stuff!

I buy the Coconut Secrets brand, that name is just ridic, and they have a nice collection of recipes on their site. Just amend to fit your needs. Cheers!

EDIT: I am so seriously firing myself for somehow misreading VINEGAR and substituting AMINOS! This is what happens after way too many hours in a hot kitchen. I am truly sorry!

Anyway, I literally use it in place of other vinegars. Similar to apple cider, maybe a bit sweeter - depends on the palate. Taste first but dressings, dipping sauces, marinades, even a splash on berries is fun. However you would regularly use vinegar - just replace with coconut vinegar. Oh, the same link that I gave for the recipes using aminos definitely includes some for the vinegar.

Forgive, so sorry! I'm off to hide under some pillows in shame.
