Hi guys! What's your intake of Coconut oil or butter during the day? Do you consume more MUFA or SFA sources?

My coconut oil usage has decreased substantially from when I first started Paleo. I probably use less than 4 tablespoons of CO throughout the week. Nothing against coconut oil-- I just prefer other fats now, such as ghee, butter, lard, and duck fat.

I would say I definitely consume more saturated fat in a day in the form of aforementioned fats, grass-fed meats, bacon, etc. I also eat a lot of dairy (I love mozzarella cheese and raw goat's milk). I get MUFAs when I use EVOO (sparingly) or eat nuts (which is a very rare).

i only cook with coconut oil and use about 1-2 tablespoons a day. i like putting extra virgin olive oil on all my foods after they cook. i don't use dairy products.

I eat probably 1/4 to 1/2 a cup of Coconut oil a day, mixed with a 1/2 tsp of honey and pinch of salt, and some pumpkin pie spice or cocoa.

I cook with grass-fed bison tallow (LOVE having that farm so close) or butter, most of the rest of my fat is from meat. Used to use olive oil a lot, but not so much lately.
