Is a black coffee with walnut oil and coconut oil healthy?

Hi, I've been paleo for 3 months and loving it. I usually start my day with a bulletproof coffee which I'm happy with. On a recent weekend I didn't fancy it, so I had a black coffee with a teaspoon of coconut oil and a teaspoon of walnut oil. Is this healthy? Is there problems with walnut oil and heat from boiled water?

I stirred it up and it tasted great. I'd like to know if this is good or bad please.

Thanks, it's mainly just for a bit of bonus fat and a wake me up coffee. Just the one a day.

SOUNDS DELICIOUS! I have some hazelnut oil that I may need to try that with!

As far as safety, yeah, you are fine. Walnut oil is good up to about 400 degrees or so. Hot coffee is no problem.

depends what you mean by healthy, while it may give you energy its pretty lacking in nutrient density. you may be better served getting your calories from nutrient dense food.(i think, not sure)

if your already getting all your nutrients from your diet and your just looking for a way to boost your energy+get more raw calories then go for it. i would just be cautious of O6/o3 ratio and excess caffeine.(ofcourse depends on frequency of use)
