How does everyone feel about coconut milk yoghurt?

I was meandering through the aisles of the store after grabbing some Almond and Coconut Milk and decided to stop by the dairy section. How do you guys feel about coconut milk yoghurt, and if you're against it, what's the best kind of yoghurt to get? I see a lot with trans-fats, shouldn't we be avoiding those?

Here's the nutritional info: http://www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/so-delicious/coconut-milk-yogurt---plain

Note: I don't have much dairy at all any more, save for a cup of yoghurt maybe once a month.

Fixed: I meant to say trans-fats, I always mix trans and saturated up.

I picked up some Key-Lime Oikos yoghurt, turns out it has less sugars and no trans fat compared to the the plain (I know, wtf?)

It's honestly not as amazing as it sounds, but it does the trick. What's involved with Coco-Kefir? I looked it up and soaking the kefir sounds like a pain...

Coconut yogurt sounds so good, but the commercial stuff is loaded with sugar and other additives, so I'm not buying it.

I would try making it at home, but I understand it doesn't really thicken on its own. I make coconut kefir sometimes.

The ingredients list for the Coconut Yogurt is long, complicated, and full of thickeners/stabilizers including the evil carrageenan. How I feel about it, since you asked, is that anyone should avoid this yogurt.

I agree with Janknitz. The commercial coconut yogurt has a lot of sugar and thickeners. I stay away from the stuff.

If you allow yourself dairy my go to is unsweetened unflavored Greek Goat yoghurt. Sometimes I feel like I just need a little culture. Jazz it up with nuts berries but it is good on its own.
