Hey guys, just a quick question regarding foam rolling. I was told to always roll toward the heart rather than back & forth as it's bad for venous return due to it damaging the non return valves in our veins. I'm no expert but it kind of makes sense to me & this is how i roll (excuse the pun) To be honest though it's a pain in the backside just rolling in one direction & i see scores of exercise videos by "coaches" & exercise gurus just rolling away back & forth? What gives guys? Am i right in what i do by just going the one way? or is it not that big of a deal? any good input is appreciated as always my friends.
