I had some rutine bloodwork done on Friday and these are the things that stuck out:
Oxaloacetic Transaminase: 69 U/L Pyruvic Transaminase: 69 U/L HDL: 66 mg/dl LDL: 154 mg/dl Total Cholesterol: 248 mg/dl Vitamin B12: 214 pg/ml
My glucose, trigs, iron & hemoglobin are GREAT!
I am very active, I exercise 5 times a week and have been eating Paleo for about 3 months. My numbers were normal before Paleo, which is puzzling to me. I am trying not to worry much, everything I have read says that this can happen when you lose weight (I have lost about 7 kg and 8% body fat and still losing but at a slower pace), and that it will eventually go back to normal.
I guess the thing I am more worried about are the transaminases...they are double the limit. I have read that it could be because of exercise, but does anyone find this to be true? I feel great, so I find it hard to believe that there could be anything wrong with my liver or anything like that.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

these are liver enzymes. I had normal readouts from my bloodwork before going Paleo, then when I started Paleo about 2 years ago I got higher readings on my next couple of blood tests. Not as high as yours, but near the upper limits, 35 or so. Then, on my last blood test in September they were back down to normal, in the 20 range.
I was concerned and asked this same question on the forum when I got the higher readings. I waited patiently to see what would happen and now I feel ok that they have come back down. Some sort of liver adjustment which I view as healing. Good luck.
