How does my first paleo blood work look?

I just got my results back from my first blood test since going paleo 11 months ago. I can't find any other blood work results from the past few years, so I don't have much to compare it to, but I know that my total cholesterol is definitely higher, as expected - it used to be around 175, and is now 208.

What do you think - do these numbers look pretty good? Is there anything I should be worried about here? Or any other tests I should look into?

Cholesterol: 208 mg/dl

Triglycerides: 50 mg/dl

HDL: 78.0 mg/dl

Direct LDL: 106.71 mg/dl

Chol/HDL Ratio: 3

C Reactive Protein: 0.4 mg/dl

Hemoglobin A1C: 4.5

Estimated Average Glucose: 82

TSH: 1.16 uIU/mL

LDL is a smidge above "optimal" levels, but not high. Trig and HDL look great. Your total cholesterol is elevated mainly due to high HDL, so don't worry about it. Normal CRP levels depend on the lab. Everything else looks good.

That all looks awesome! Keep up the good work.

Looks pretty good. the Total doesn't matter that much since your HDL is high.

Take that american heart association and your "Heart Healthy Whole Wheat"

Also, for everyone who wonders the difference between the estimated and direct measures for LDL. The Friedwald Formula would have said your LDL was 143 which is "Borderline high", along with a 200+ TC -- Statins would be on your horizon. This is why the medical system is broken. Let's pay for expensive drugs rather than a cheap ($200) VAP Panel.

Your lab results are beautiful! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Not sure how to evaluate these, but I just got my blood work done (after about 4 months of paleo) and my cholesterol went up from about 175 (tested a few years ago) to 200 also. HDL was 60. I feel much healthier in general on paleo so I'm not going to worry too much...
