Has anyone got any positive/negative input on this post by Chris Kresser?

I like Chris Kresser's work as i'm sure a lot of you do, i personally like/tolerate dairy so it seems good news for me but I'm no science paper cruncher & would love to see any opinions on this....http://ajcn.nutrition.org/content/early/2013/02/12/ajcn.112.045468.short...thanks in advance guys.

Milk has a lot of good stuff in it, it's a baby cow's main food source after all. I think the benefits outweigh any cost that the lactose would impose on the pre-diabetic population, or so would be my assumption.

Thanks Stephen, i was just generally asking for input, I respect Chris Kresser a lot but i know there are a lot of knowledgeable people here too so i just thought i'd throw it out there. My only specific question would be in regard to milk. I'm under the impression that milk causes an insulin response due to the lactose? ..How would this have a positive effect on fasting insulin levels & lessen diabetes risk? Is this just due to overall improved metabolic health?

Trans-palmitoleic acid, an omega 7 fat, is produced by ruminants and found only in dairy and is an example of a naturally occurring trans-fat. What's interesting about it is that its consumption (via dairy) is associated with lowered risk for type 2 diabetes and fat metabolism disorders.

Having said that, be mindful of the issues associated with industrially produced milk as well as individual lactose intolerance.

It looks perfectly reasonable to me man, I also seem to tolerate dairy well. Any specific questions about it?
