Does anyone know if bread made from flaxseed meal (less than 1 carb a piece) helps with cholesterol? The recipe called for 5 eggs and 2 cups flaxseed meal. Made 12 pieces. 5 grams fiber and 6 grams protein a slice. About food.com. It was great.

Yes flax-seed in any form will lower you cholesterol My wife has been on a flax-seed added diet for about a year,She ads it to a pancake mix and other foods her numbers went from 251 to last weeks reading of 196 She does eat old style cooked oatmeal and Cheerios along with the flax seed Lost about 20 lbs in the last 2+ months also..You can virtually ad flax seed to anything..
