Hi everyone! I am short on funds, and wondering if before I buy the book(s), can anyone explain the differences between the 30 or 60 day primal/paleo, no sugar challenges? I am mentally eager and ready to try. there are weeks I do great, and there are weeks that I fail...that's a post for another day. But today, I am ready. I want to state up front, I need a plan, a written plan. I need right now today to have someone start me off by telling me what and when to eat. Maybe next month, I can do it on my own, but right now, I admit that's what I need.
Are there only subtle trivial differences? Is it just a matter of semantics? Are any of the challendges easier to follow, or to shop and plan for or easier to stick to? Is there a post on PH already discussing this?
I am publicly recommitting myself here... and I will also look for a challenge buddy... I just want to get my ducks in order.
Thank you everyone so much! I love PH! You are all so very supportive of each other here.
if this question does not belong here, or should be worded differently, please let me know.

I'm not sure you need to buy a book. Here is Whole30. I think it is one of the more restrictive (cuts out dairy and potatoes):
Here is another plan. This is what I followed. It is less restrictive, but worked for me. It is not set up as an X day challenge, but you could certainly start out that way:

Since your name is "typeogirl" and I'm going to fantasize that you picked this name due to a love for the goth metal gods, Type O Negative, then I will answer this for you. The guidelines for doing a paleo "Whole 30" can be found here: http://whole9life.com/2012/01/whole-30-v2012/ Now, with that in mind, many folks choose to do this challenge, with some modifications, like allowing certain dairy products. Good luck!
