How are the Paleo mothers and families here celebrating Mother's Day? Are you enjoying a yummy sheep's skull with your family, hunting for wild game, making a Paleo dessert or doing something else that would make your Paleohacks family proud?

Wow! I'm sorry about your husband and, like you, grateful that he protected the little one. I wish him rapid healing.

Say more. Is this one of the Brazilian steak places where the waiters come around with slabs of meat on skewers?

I'm Spending mothers day taking care of my poor husband who has 2nd degree burns all over his legs and spent the night in the ER. I am thankful he used his body to shield a pot of boiling water from falling on our 3year old last night. The 3 year old only has a small burn on his chest and is fine. What a night!

Before this happened we planned to go to puerto nuevo Mexico to get Lobster.

Dinner with my mother, grandmother, sister, girlfriend, and girlfriend's mother.

Steaks marinated in garlic and rosemary with steamed kale. Everything soaked in butter, of course. :D

I am celebrating by telling my mom about how her diet high in grains, sugar and vegetable oils is contributing to her development of signs of Alzheimer's...and I helped her throw out her tub of margarine today.

My teen daughter, who is also Paleo (mostly), made me this for brunch, with hazelnut coffee:

She is now snoozing on the sofa and I'm sitting next to her, reading the paper. Family bliss!

I really want to see if I can get my family to let me cook dinner (a paleo dinner, of course!) I'll be heading over there soon so we will see! I'm always telling them about the benefits of paleo, and showing them pics of all the great food I eat, but it just isn't happening! Maybe if I can start making a meal every once in while and make them eat it.....
