I've heared a lot of good things about the zero carb diet and I want to experiment with it however i'm currently low carb, high fat, med protein, under 50 grams of carbs, 2 meals a day and i've noticed when I eat meat for example; a plate with a pound of bacon completely devoured before following with a small carrot afterwards I will get an initial feeling of constipation and sometimes a prolonged constipation throughout the entire bowel session which makes me believe that fiber is necessary however I keep reading about all these reports on here of zero carbers who have no constipation issues when fats make up 70% of calores. My Fat intake also seems to make up about the same amount of calories but I also take in low carb and I would like know how can I avoid constipation making the transition? Because I would rather be well informed and convinced zero carb is a good option rather than make the mistake of going through another terrifyingly painful experience from avoiding fiber, so I would appreciate daily macro ratios that have worked for you and general advice. Thanks in advance.
