Hey guys, I have and mma fight on saturday and i have to make weight on friday. I must weight 80kg. I usually weight around 90kg, I have been dieting for the last month doing paleo diet, eating sweet potate as the main carb mostly after training, right now is thursday Im weighting 82kg eating just a little bit drinking not that much water and fealing good, Tomorrow friday Im not drinking or eating almost anything until the weight in. what should I eat after the weight in? how much? how often? Should I make and aditional effort to replenish carbs?
P.D I am from the coast and the fight is in the highlands, Im plaining to go on friday make weight and return 30 min airplane travel to my city then go again 3pm on saturday to fight at 10pm.

Most fighters immediately rehydrate with Pedialyte right off the scales.
Just eat good and clean afterwards. I wouldn't recommend going too far off what your normal diet is, no matter what.

For my fight, I drink coconut water right after weigh inns, plus I was eating steak, veggies, and sweet potatoes. Every 30 minutes I was eating small meals. I weighed in at 135lbs and went back to my walk around weight at 150lbs.Good luck Osu
