What are some cheap low glycemic carbs to eat for someone who has hypoglycemia?

I'm on a budget and want some suggestions on the above cheap carbs w low glycemic index. It can include suggestions of beans and recipes or preparation suggestions.

Good answer. I would not suggest beans either bulldog. fruits and non-starchy vegetables would be great. Squashes might be worth trying as well. Also, resistance exercise will help your body utilize carbs hyper-efficiently.

Try eating lettuce salads with lots of raw veggies & a good fatty dressing. Add some berries. Very low glycemic, inexpensive and oodles of nutrition. I don't think beans would be your best bet. Filling yes but very hard to digest & high in sugars.

My first suggestion would be to reduce carbohydrates in general if suffering from hypoglycemic swings. You don't have to purchase the grass-fed stuff if you truly can't afford it; standard meat is better than riding the Gluco-Whirl all day.

You need to get a handle on the hypoglycemia. It's a symptom of something else going on. I didn't get over it until I quit eating insulin spiking foods (like grains) and started Eating more fat and protein with every meal.
