Anyone know the actual breakdown of Kurt Harris's current diet where he says he is experimenting with 50% CHO?

Kurt is frequently spotted hanging out with CarbSane - they seem to be very much of like minds and demeanors. Personally I think he has all but retired from the Paleo scene.

Why bother with Rice Crispies when you could have Captain Crunch or Cocoa Puffs?

I think it would be so boring if Dr H answered the question. Much better to just make wild stabs in the dark.

He said he used bananas, potato, and rice and decreased cream and butter but still didn't count calories. I would think he'd do a blog post soon. One thing I'm curious about is whether he purposely sought out lean protein or continued eating fatty cuts and the high fat ground beef he has.

Kurt Harris was quite possibly the greatest mind in paleo - and we drove him off. REPENT NOW, people. Like the Lorax he might, just might, return...

I'll be interested to see if there are changes in LDL, tris and/or A1C. IMO, his blog is one of the best out there and I hope he shares the results of his dietary experiment.

Anyone know where the good Dr. IS these days?! I think we - by 'we' I mean paleo in general - drove him off the reservation with all the Kruse fanboy antics. He did try to warn us, after all. He saw all of it coming. Did anyone listen? Not really. People did the right thing when it was too little, too late. That's why the current rendering of Kruse a non-person here at PH is so laughable - it doesn't matter now! When the time came to make a stand, few did in ways that mattered. And it was all to the detriment of paleo.
