What is the general consensus on working out in the PM? I live in Finland and it gets dark here around 3, completely dark by 4pm. I find that for whatever reason my biggest motivation to workout comes between the hours of 7pm and 1am. I've always been a bit of a night owl, but I wasn't sure how good it is to get the heart rate pumping that late?
My brother, ErikOfRockford on PaleoHacks, says he doesn't like the late night workouts, especially for Carbing up post-workout (Earn Your Carbs!). I find that I get my biggest boost of energy after my dinner, which is usually between 6 and 8pm.
What are your words of wisdom, friends?
