I suppose the title isn't that clear, so I'll try to word the question a bit better:
I take a 2 hour walk every day, at a reasonable pace (around 3 mph) and in the middle, I tend to get something fructose-y, around 30 grams carbs. My question is, with the walking do you think the carbs are getting into my system, or are they burned during the exercise before really turning into fatty tissue? Do carbs actually wreak havoc to the system if you've burned their energy value in additional exercise, even if its not intense (/chronic) cardio?
Additional info, just in case it matters: I try to keep carbs around 50-100g a day (female, 5'7" 168 lbs, looking to lose 13-18 more lbs) but sometimes go more more like 120-130. I'm not tracking calories any more because it inspires obsession, and I lose about 4 lbs a month without doing so, which being within my last 20 lbs sounds fair to me.
Thank you in advance!
