Is carb back-loading good for skinny guys wanting to gain weight?

Hi, I am a skinny guy,or I am unless I eat 150 to 200 carbs per day from starches, even when not heavy lifting (2x week). If I don't eat carbs I lose weight super easily. My target bodyweight is 79 kilos.

I like the sound of CBL, it would be way more practical to eat carbs in the evening.

Does CBL work for skinny guys?

Same here, i find i maintain/gain lean mass much easier when eating a decent amount of starch, otherwise my lean mass and abdominal fat is yoyo-ing and almost impossible to maintain unless i eat low carb/higher protein which i don't like, i find i can carb backload and still maintain my lean mass but eating 200g of starch at the end of the day is quite the stuffing to put myself through!

I tend to fast/skip breakfast but have 30g protein after an intense morning workout, then i start eating starch for lunch & dinner, so i'm still backloading but to a lesser degree

I've only been at this for a few weeks now but i'm very much aware of how starch is essential for me to maintain my lean mass, if i go lower on fats then the fat burning is also astonishing, i'm finally losing my abdominal skinny fat and clearly seeing square abdominal muscles for the first time in my life! If anything i burn more fat eating high starch/low fat compared VLC

Thanks, great answer. I don't put on any body fat if I eat carbs morning, noon or night so I've decided to return to regular carb scheduling for now.
