Bloating after eating any carbs

For the past 3 years I've been dealing with chronic bloating. So much so that it looks like I'm pregnant when it's really bad. I started paleo 2 months ago and it helped a lot but I notice that when I eat any fruit, (sweet) potatoes, pumpkin, or anything that has more than a couple carbs in it, the bloat comes right back with a vengeance.

I went keto for a bit and it helped my stomach but I got so tired I could hardly work. Also I don't see how that could be doable long term.

Do you think if I stick with keto for a bit longer my carb digesting organs (pancreas, parotid gland etc.) would get enough "rest" and be able to handle sugars/starches again?

Any ideas would be awesome thanks!

ps: I'm a 22 year old female.

You also might want to get a stool test to measure the levels of good/bad flora in your colon. It may be that if you can boost your good flora, through probiotic foods/supplements, you'll be able to digest carbs better. Also, I eat white rice as it's not as bloating as other carbs.

Get tested for SIBO (methane hydrogen test).

Here's a good paleo protocol that includes FODMAPs and is geared toward SIBO. I never bothered to test for SIBO, but this helped me immensely when I did it:

Google FODMAPS. I eliminate these and no more bloat.
