Whole 30 carb crash/carb flu

So after 8 days on strict paleo I am having a pretty bad carb crash. I wouldn't think much of it and just push through but I have exams coming up in a week and am afraid it's going to affect my studying and test taking. The carb crash started tree days ago. What should I do? Postpone for another month or stick to it with some added carbs? How bad can the carb withdrawal be on the brain? Thanks for your insights!

Add carbs back in until your exams are over. Who knows how long this low-carb flu will last and it's not worth having your grades suffer.

Eating strict paleo doesn't mean eating low carb. Get lots of tubers and starchy veggies and you can easily get your carbs up to a level you can deal with. 1 cup sweet potato = 40 grams, remember :)

How many carbs are you currently getting in? From what sources? You could add .25 lbs of sweet potato which is around 22 grams of carbs. Are you working out? If so you should get in 30-50 grams of carbs post workout if you are doing glycotic workouts that is. My carb flu lasted months off and on until I added 50 grams of carbs from sweet potatoes that is.
