I'm doing it right now...I've been loosely applying the basic concepts for months now and have more muscle mass than I ever have. I think i'm finally about to get a six pack.
I just started getting serious about a week ago..no more olive oil on my PWO potatoes :( but I think it will be worth it. I ate serious amounts of jasmine rice & white potatoes on my last binge.
I don't have the book so I don't know everything but hopefully i know enough.

I am doing a pretty lackadaisical version of this but it is having visible results. Basically I just eat a typical "balanced" plate after workouts that will include a big pile of rice or sweet potato. If it's a morning workout I sometimes use dried fruit like dates and cranberries or oatmeal. I say lackadaisical because I'm pretty sure I've never actually been in true ketosis so it's not really Keifer's method but it seems to work anyways. I'm a natural ectomorph who usually finds it near impossible to gain noticeable muscle mass until I tried this.
