Aren't all the MCTs from coconut used immediately for energy?

That is why you need to eat TWO jars of it, the second jar helps you avoid the tired feeling you get from eating only ONE jar

The only thing wrong with it is that you should be eating TWO jars of coconut butter! One is not nearly enough to keep you healthy!

You're using the term poop loosely, right? Get it, loose poop? *rimshot*

I have a 16 oz jar of Artisana Raw Organic Coconut butter handy...2 TBSP serving, 186 calories per serving, 14 servings in jar...2604 total calories in the jar. But I can't see how one would eat the whole thing. I've only used it in a few things, but on it's own it's pasty. Good, but I don't like the texture.

The majority of LCTs will end up being stored as fat if you are eating an entire jar.

Are you eating an entire jar in a sitting? Too many calories! I love coconut butter (I make my own) and 1 to 3 teaspoonsful at a time is enough for me.

If you're hungry enough to eat an entire jar of coconut butter at one sitting, that makes me think you are not eating well otherwise and not meeting your nutritional needs. Sounds like you need to take a look a the rest of your diet. If you are getting adequate protein and good, healthy fat, then your body would not tolerate an entire jar of coconut butter on top of it.

Ahh, good (?) memories bingeing on jars of coconut butter. I was putting on so much weight. Then again my binges usually included a lot of fruit. I realize this is not a good answer... my real answer is: why would you do this? It seems like a bingeing-esque activity, and that never ends well for anyone.

Your body will use the carbs for energy first.

it's a ton of calories. what would you need that much coconut butter for? i've never tried it so i don't know how good it is, but i'm guessing there must be like 2000 calories in a jar.

I know it feels SO RIGHT, but what's wrong about eating a jar of coconut butter is that you feel like you can eat an entire jar of coconut butter. I've had full-on conversations with this stuff when I see it on a supermarket shelf. It's too good. If you have issues with weight, this will stall loss... without a doubt.

One trick to ensure you don't overeat coconut butter is to mix equal amounts of coconut oil with the coconut butter. 1 jar coconut butter to one jar coconut oil. That'll slow your azz down...fa sho!

I almost ate a whole jar of grassfed butter once, but I stopped myself. Problem was I had a teaspoon of it with Nutella and I had this huge urge to eat the whole entire thing. I put it down and backed away SLOWLY. Never again. :)

I don't know if you'll be able to eat a whole jar without getting the runs.
